Sea Otter Play 2020

A 63mile/100km adventure (60 km gravel, 40 km pavement) highlighting the vistas, valleys and villages along the Niagara Escarpment in Blue Mountains region of Ontario. From the top of Blue Mountain Resort, the start features a short but steep climb to the plateau atop the Niagara Escarpment. The route progresses on rolling gravel roadways towards the beautiful Beaver Valley.  Scenic descents and some challenging (but approachable) climbs highlight the route as is it unfolds with over 1,000m of vertical ascent from start to finish.  Along the way, riders can stop for a break in the scenic and quaint villages of Kimberley and Feversham, each with its own local charm, nicely segmenting the course into three distinct sections. Looping back to the start, the final descent emphasizes the spectacular view over Georgian Bay. Finishing at Blue Mountain, the Village at the base of the resort is the perfect place to celebrate the completion of a rewarding Challenge of the Sea Otter Canada experience.
